I recently completed reviewing the manuscript for the third part in the series “A Twenty-First-Century Bible.” As a consequence, I have now submitted the work for publication and it is contents are currently being evaluated.

For me, this is the most nerve-wracking part in the process of publication. Because whilst I know that the translation is all my own work (and I have used many safeguards to avoid accidentally breaching someone else’s copyright), the printers have to independently satisfy themselves that it is all my own work too. (And the process can take several weeks).

If the manuscript is approved, it will then pass to the copy-editing stage, before returning to me for further review. Only then can the book be formatted and published.

In the meantime, I am occupying myself with a side project—an A to Z of the Laws of Moses and the Proverbs of Solomon, which I hope will become available in late 2018.
